A fleet of Experiment Units (EU) has been fully designed, developed and succesfully flown by Kayser Italia into BIOPAK, BIOKON, BIOPAN, BIOBOX, KUBIC and BIOLAB incubators. Among others, Rhodospirillum rubrum, Chlamydomonas reinardthii, Saccharomices cerevisiae, Arabidopsis thaliana, Xenopus Laevis, and Rodentia and Homo sapiens different cell types were exposed to microgravity and treated according to dedicated protocols.
