DANGER
Planning and Monitoring of Dangerous Goods Transports (ASI)
DANGER is a macro-project of the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana for the study of the application and of the pre-operative services based on satellite navigation for the planning, forecast and the management of the transport of the dangerous goods. The project, in coordination with the italian institutions, aimed to prevent the risks and to manage the emergencies.
DANGER uses the GNSS technologies, including the GALILEO and EGNOS/GPS. The project also defines innovative intra-vehicular communications, used as pervasive communication network for the transmission of the system data.
