Kennedy Space Centre (KSC), Cape Canaveral, September 14th, 2025. The Heat Transfer Host 2 (HTH2) Facility has been launched on-board NG-23, and it is on the way to the ISS! The commissioning for the first experiment MoF (Marangoni in Films) is scheduled for the last week of September. The execution in HTH2 of other two experiments (Drop Evaporation and Condensation on Films) will follow later.
Kayser Italia has contributed to the HTH2 program, led by REDWIRE, by designing and developing the Electronic Box (E-Box), which is part of the Electronics Module of the facility. The E-Box houses the electronics driving the different subsystems of HTH2, as the Power Conditioning and Distribution units (MPDB and SPDB), the Signal Conditioning units (SCB1 and SCB2) and the Experiment Drivers units (PDB and VDB).
