July, 2025. After 15 years from its first In-orbit Commissioning and following a recent ground refurbishment for improving its performance, the video-audio transmitter HAMVIDEO is now operative again on board the International Space Station. HAMVIDEO, developed by Kayser Italia in collaboration with the radio-amateur community Amsat Italia and ARISS, has been launched with the SpaceX CRS-32 the 21st of April 2025.

At the moment HAMVIDEO is transmitting a TS without video and audio signals to check the link budget S/G and the compliance to the transmission requirements on-board the ISS.

In the next days, the video and audio signals produced by up-to-date on-board video-cameras will be transmitted to Ground and future school contacts will be operated with high-quality standard!
